HG-EV HG-EV cassette sprocket is for rider-tuned gear combination & cadence management. Shimano provide optimal 11-speed drivetrain gear ratio; you can choice wider and closer gear combination available to match various riding disciplines. HG-EV cassette sprocket is obtained 11-speed gear without compromising the 10-speed durability and improved HyperGlide shifting.

Shimano Shadpw RD - The mechanism rear derailleur, SHIMANO SHADOW RD, is intended for more aggressive riding. Its super low profile design carries many benefits. Because of its low profile and single tension construction, the derailleur does not hit the chain stay in rough riding conditions. The result is smooth and silent performance.

There are bike shops and then there is Salter Cycles, the nicest bunch of knowledgeable blokes in the business, no wonder they have been going since 1990, thanks Rob and Tim for everything.


Had a new bike built recently by Tim at Salter Cycles which couldn't of been done better. All the components were assembled professionally and measurements set to a tee as per the bike fit data. Originally I had bought a HED wheelset here with great service throughout so when it came to a new frameset build the decision was a no brainer! The guys are passionate about riding and really know their stuff which made all the suggestions relevant. Also, thanks again Rob for recommending the frame colour, lovin it!

Salter Cycles began life in 1999 as a family business run by Geoff and Adrian Salter. Living and riding in the western suburbs we could see the growing need for a quality bike shop in the Altona, Altona Meadows, Laverton and Point Cook corridor.
