  • An increased rim bead width of 2.8mm on each side enhances rim bead stiffness, helping offer better support for tires when cornering.
  • Designed for today’s high volume road tires, the 22.4mm wide inner rim width creates an increased actual tire contact patch, resulting in better traction and impact absorption for more confidence and improved ride feel.

Our Story

Salter Cycles began life in 1999 as a family business run by Geoff and Adrian Salter. Living and riding in the western suburbs we could see the growing need for a quality bike shop in the Altona, Altona Meadows, Laverton and Point Cook corridor. Both being life long cyclists and bike racers, our mission has always been to help our customers enjoy their bikes as much as we do.
